Our hiking excursion along the Lechweg-path, is sure to treat you to an outstanding natural experience.  The shimmering river Lech follows you for around 125 kilometres from its source at Lake Formarinsee in the Austrian town of Lech am Arlberg, via one of Europe's most spectacular river landscapes, to the Lechfall-waterfall in Füssen in the Bavarian Allgäu-region. Along the way, you'll see not only the wild and rugged grandeur of the border-crossing Alpine regions, but also have the opportunity to stroll through one of Europe's largest ibex colonies and marvel at a waterfall that mysteriously vanishes and reappears each year. You can take a stroll across the magnificent pedestrian suspension bridge and marvel at King Louis' residences. Your constant companion is the magnificent turquoise of the river Lech and its echoing roar.
