- 10 Nights
The long-distance “World Heritage Trail Wachau” is a 180km route that runs along the ridges of the Danube valley. Our 8 day self-guided holiday takes you along a section of this from the historic city of Krems to Melk, perhaps best known for its Abbey. The walks take you through hamlets, vineyards and apricot orchards with the river Danube providing a constant backdrop. The mild climate and steep hills make it ideal territory for orchards and vineyards and you'll get a chance to sample many of the local delicacies during your stay.
